LEARNING EVENT AND WORKSHOPS, MARCH 4-5, 2009


The learning event brings researchers and other professionals to the community to present their findings on a variety of issues that were deemed important through discussion in prior workshops. The intent of this information sharing is to provide a baseline of how the community is currently performing on various urban sustainability issues, with an eye to how better performance may be achieved. This event will help to prepare participants for the setting community targets in a variety of important issue areas. These targets will be used as directives for the charrette team to address at the charrette event. Design strategies for achieving targets will also be explored.
