Greater Oliver is the third Smart Growth on the Ground community, marking the first time that a regional district and a town have joined forces in this initiative.  To recognize the unique character of the region, key changes were made to the SGOG principles.

Work in Greater Oliver began in November 2005.  The charrette was completed in May 2006; the Concept Plan contains the charrette results.
